The Community
Mature neighborhood adjacent to the region's top mixed-use village with a championship golf course.
History
Master-planned in the late 1990s as a residential anchor for the adjacent Birkdale Village mixed-use lifestyle center, Birkdale combined an Arnold Palmer–signature championship course with a walkable Huntersville residential plan. Today it is one of the only North Mecklenburg communities where you can walk from your front door to a coffee shop, a movie theater, and a championship golf course.
Lifestyle
Mornings on the Arnold Palmer course, lunch at Dressler's two blocks away, afternoons at the Birkdale Village fountain with the kids, and evenings at BrickTop's or Galway Hooker. Birkdale's lifestyle is unmistakably walkable — the village is the amenity, and the course is the bonus.
Architecture
Brick traditional and transitional homes from the late 1990s and 2000s, with a small number of newer custom builds on premium fairway parcels.
