History
Opened in the late 1980s on the lake's western shore in Denver, Westport is one of the oldest established golf-and-swim communities on Lake Norman. Its championship course (a Bobby Weed design, recently restored) routes through hardwood ridges with long views down to Lake Norman, and the clubhouse and aquatic complex have anchored the western shore's social calendar for three decades.
