The Community
Newer construction with contemporary architecture and shared waterfront amenities.
History
Beacon Pointe is one of Mooresville's newer waterfront communities, developed in the late 2010s on a previously undeveloped peninsula off Brawley School Road. The original plan called for a tightly curated roster of transitional and modern waterfront builds — fewer than fifty homesites total — with shared waterfront amenities replacing the country-club model of older communities nearby.
Lifestyle
Life here is built around new construction, new neighbors, and a young-family energy: sidewalk-laced streets, a community fire-pit pavilion, sunset boat rides from the shared docks, and a steady calendar of new-construction open houses as the final phases close out. Owners skew relocating tech and finance executives and growing families upgrading from in-town.
Architecture
Modern and transitional waterfront residences, 4,500–8,000 sq ft on quarter- to half-acre lots. Common vocabulary: board-and-batten and stone facades, standing-seam metal roof accents, expansive lake-facing glass, infinity-edge pools, and covered double-slip docks with lifts.
