Broadmoor Pointe

History

Broadmoor Pointe was developed in the early 2000s on a deep, sheltered cove off Brawley School Road in Mooresville — one of the last remaining deep-water pockets before the lake narrows toward the Catawba River. The original plan called for fewer than forty custom homesites, each with direct waterfront and private dock rights, on a site selected specifically for its protected water and long lake views.

Lifestyle

Mornings begin with coffee on the covered dock, mid-days with a boat run to the main channel, and evenings with sunset views across the cove from the screened porch. The culture is quiet and boutique — no clubhouse crowds, no through-traffic, just a tight collection of owners who value privacy, deep water, and architectural distinction. Many households are executives, entrepreneurs, and multi-generational families using the home as a primary lake residence.

Custom luxury traditional and transitional waterfront homes, 4,500–8,500 sq ft on half- to one-acre lots. Common vocabulary: stone-and-brick facades, standing-seam metal roof accents, expansive lake-facing glass walls, covered double-slip boathouses with lifts, and infinity-edge pools overlooking the cove.
