Kings Point

History

Kings Point was developed in the late 1980s and early 1990s on a broad, tree-covered peninsula in Mooresville, at a time when the Lake Norman waterfront was still transitioning from weekend retreat to year-round residence. The community was planned around deep-water lots with covered slips, wide streets, and a minimum-home-size covenant that ensured architectural quality from the beginning. Three decades later, it remains one of Mooresville's most sought-after mature waterfront addresses.

Lifestyle

The rhythm here is classic lake family: school runs to Lake Norman Elementary, afternoons on the boat, evenings at the community dock meeting neighbors, and weekends hosting friends for pontoon cruises and cookouts. The social fabric is tight — an active homeowners association, seasonal dock parties, and a culture of looking out for one another's boats and property.
